Fingertip Player
Hear music with your fingertips
A hundred of the world’s best-loved melodies, turned into touch. Hold your iPhone, close your eyes, and feel every note of Beethoven, Chopin and Bach in your palm.
Download on the App StoreFor iPhone. Free to try with 5 pieces.
Hear the music while each melody note arrives as a clear pulse in your hand, and the beat and accompaniment as lighter taps beneath it.
No sound, only vibration. Feel a famous melody and pick its title from four. Surprisingly addictive.
Für Elise, Canon in D, Clair de lune and many more — real public-domain recordings, beautifully prepared.
Each recording is analyzed on our side before it reaches you: every note onset is located in the audio itself, the melody is traced note by note, and everything is tuned to what the iPhone’s Taptic Engine can express clearly. Each pulse lands exactly with the sound; accented notes strike harder and higher notes feel brighter; long notes linger; the whole piece breathes with the music’s dynamics.
Fingertip Player was made so that people who are deaf or hard of hearing can enjoy melodies too — and for anyone curious to experience music in a new way. Everything works offline, and nothing about you is collected.
Any iPhone with a Taptic Engine (iPhone 8 or later) running iOS 17 or later.
Five pieces are free in both modes. A one-time purchase unlocks the full collection, with Family Sharing.
